I made this creation moments before I got permanently banned from the game it was made on, Spore. Unable to share it, and once I spread the news, my friends set out a petition to unban me. I shared the PNG of this creation, and they spammed the servers with it, demanding my release.

On the third day of my ban, petition still going strong with over 200 supporters, a moderator of the main forum, CopperLou, spoke to the administrator and representative of Maxis, MaxisCactus. Thanks to them, Cactus was able to convince EA's Customer Service team to reconsider my banning.

After my unban, I renamed this to 'The Original Eden', and tried to put into words of how thankful and amazed I was at the community, how many people wanted me back, how many people were involved in the protest and petition.

Just as my hope in the community was fading, they proved to me that we are powerful when working together. I've found many more friends I previously did not know I had. I've come to realize just how much of an impact I have. And that, unlike what people think, EA and Maxis listen.

This creation marks as a reminded to me of a stronger community, and to the game, it is a relic to remind everyone of how they worked together and a reminder of a dark event...

I was banned on the 4th of July, and the creature was named Eden entirely by coincidence, named just before I found out I was banned... freaky...

I'm too lazy to search through the comments for this, but WHY were you banned from spore in the first place? I can only think of the creature having an inapropriate name or have an "odd" appearence. Appearantley whoever banned you doesn't like dragons

I registered to my Spore game years ago, around the time it first came out. I'm now almost seventeen. I know the email address I used to register to my Spore game, because it's the very first email address I ever made. Trouble is; I can't log in. I don't know the password, either that or because I haven't logged in such a long time, the email has deactivated itself. Its has been years. The point is, now I can't use my spore game because it only works with that one address and the unique code my game came with. What should I do? The game cost me over one hundred dollars in total, so I don't think my parents are willing to buy another game. If it helps; I know my username; WonderfulWizard.

To be honest I think you should contact EA and provide your email address, Spore username, the games and date you registered, and the activation code you get with your copy of Spore (all if you're requested to do so, of course).

I can't guarentee it'll work, but it's worth a shot. Good luck!

Hah, I wish my 850 subscribers would come to my rescue. I was permabanned 2 days ago for the most unfair reason...

I posted a link to a dubstep song on my friend's creation. I link...to a song...we've all done that before! I guess EA doesn't like listening to robots making love?

And acording to the email, they will not reconsider my ban at all because they sent me multiple warnings for posting other links. The only problem is, they never did. I checked my email every time my spore account doesn't log me in, and I never saw anything at all from EA.

And now I am banned permanately from all EA games, so I can't play Darkspore either. Nice to know that Maxis will leave theiur fanbases unattended for years and the only time they pay attention is to see if anyone should be kicked out forever, even though they paied over 200 bucks for their games combined.

And I have made 2 alts, but neither of them work whenI try to use them through spore or darkspore because the "retail key is invalid"?

Seriously, I love Maxis, but they get upset with people for the stupidest of reasons...

Aw man, that really sucks

I'm sorry to hear about this. My only advice would be to talk to a Sporemaster or Maxis employee. My best choice would be Vektrix or Parkaboy, as they both tend to act quick and are supportive (Slime quit and I don't know how you are with Blackbird). Talk to one of them and explain your situation, that you've had no other previous warnings and you were just talking to a friend and such.

If it makes you feel any better, the bans are all automated - Meaning, it's not like Maxis has anything against you. I just hope MaxisKyle has the same point of view as MaxisCactus, they're both very nice, but it's up to them (or him, now) whether or not you'll get unbanned.

Also, as another point, while the email does say EA wont reconsider it, that's basically just common procedure, so that people don't whine to them about why they should be unbanned and such, because EA can't respond to *every* response, even if they are legit. If the whole reconsidering thing was true, then they broke the rules for me twice

I plan to talk to talk to Parkaboy, since him and I have already talked to eachother before on Darkspore, hopefully he will help me with this madness

my only problem is...how do I contact a sporeuser...when I can no longer comment on Spore??? I don't know if he has a youtube channel or anything, so I am stuck here, but I'm still searching!

Ah, good point. He does have a YouTube profile but I don't know if he still uses that. I've not seen him on Darkspore, though I'm not on it often tbh. You could try asking someone on EuroSpore to pass on the message? Or he's on Facebook, but again I don't know how often he checks it.

Otherwise, make a trial account.
